Epi y Blas

Here are some Spanish-isms of note.

Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street are Epi and Blas.
Kermit the frog is Gustavo.
Miss Piggy is Cerdita Piggy.
Sesame Street is Sesame Neighborhood.
The Tooth Fairy is a mouse. His name is Ratoncito Perez. (I find this so strange and unnerving - a mouse sneaking into my bed and under my pillow -- but Mr. A thinks a flying fairy coming in through the window equally unnerving).
In Spain, you don't pull someone's leg - you take their hair.
Here, you don't wake up on the wrong side of the bed, you wake up with your left foot.
Its not the mailman's kid (or the mailman who is having an affair with the bored housewife), its the plumber.
